Vaimaanga Views Studio

Vaimaanga Views Studio is located on the southern side of the island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. It is nestled amongst banana palms and tropical plants, with plenty of privacy in the quiet part of Vaimaanga. Perfect for couples who want to escape and enjoy the tranquillity of the Island.

The aqua lagoon is just down the driveway and across the road, an access path from the bungalow to the white sand beach. A great spot for snorkelling, kayaking, relaxing on the beach fringed with coconut palms. This is a hidden gem, often you will be the only one on the beach for the whole day. We provide guests with free snorkelling gear.

Again another one of those difficult jobs. Having to fly from the cold weather in Nelson to the warm weather in Rarotonga to photograph Vaimaanga views and the surrounding area.  We used our DSLR, drone and 360 degree camera to capture some great footage and media for this website design. Having stayed at the accommodation a number of times in the past also made the job easy. The accommodation is managed by a couple originally from Nelson working together was easy and fun. Once we had all the information we needed we created the website using HTML5 and integrated the Theta 360 photos to show website visitors the inside of the accommodation. This feature takes away the ability to falsify the actual room size and space. The clients that arrive know exactly how the room is and should not be disappointed, as opposed to photos that make the room look massive when it is not.

A real pleasure building this website and as the owner of the property I have seen real traffic and bookings increase since the website went live. More importantly there has been a reduction in cancelled bookings once customers arrive as the site helps explain the location, facilities, etc.
