Barton Architecture

Carlton Barton founded Barton Architecture in 2018. Barton Architecture is a Nelson based architectural design practice servicing people and businesses at the top of the South Island. We specialise in considered and engaging design for the residential, commercial retail sectors.

Carleton Barton studied and worked in practices both New Zealand and in the UK within the Residential, High-end Residential and Commercial sectors. He is a qualified and experienced architectural designer with an intuitive approach to design that is well founded on construction principles and includes a number of award winning projects with the NZ Master Builders and the ADNZ, gained over 15 years of experience in the industry.

He works closely with clients to design and visualise ideas, design concepts and planning applications, through to construction and interior design. In addition, he manages the project working with established construction professionals to guarantee a great outcome.
