Carleton has studied and worked in practices both New Zealand and in the UK within the Residential, High-end Residential and Commercial sectors. He is a qualified and experienced architectural designer with an intuitive approach to design that is well founded on construction principles and includes a number of award winning projects with the NZ Master Builders and the ADNZ, gained over 15 years of experience in the industry.

Carleton works closely with clients to design and visualise ideas, design concepts and planning applications, through to construction and interior design. Paired with project managing and working with established construction professionals a great outcome is assured.

When Carleton from Barton Architecture approached NZTEC and asked us to design a new website for the business we were excited. Carleton has been involved in a large number of architectural jobs around the Nelson region and had a large number of amazing photos to match. Its always good working with great media and a great story. After our initial meeting we got to work and created a website using the WordPress platform. We traveled with Carleton to a number of recently completed projects around the region and took some drone images and photos of these. We used a number of these in the development of the website.
